10% Pledge
As part of our commitment to the communities in which we work, we pledge to donate 10% of profits at any dome site to local conversation efforts.
Our work is motivated by our twin commitments to the oceans and the communities that live near them. These commitments are central to all of our work, from our 10% pledge, to our working with local communities to bring the wonders of the ocean to a new generation of local stewards. Below you can read about some of our ongoing initiatives.
As part of our commitment to the communities in which we work, we pledge to donate 10% of profits at any dome site to local conversation efforts.
We are proud to support Jong Bonaire, a community center that provides the teens of Bonaire with opportunities to build technical and life skills; participate in sports, music, and the arts; and take part in mentorship and volunteer programs, including a number of activities to learn and practice environmental stewardship.
IMMERSED donated five underwater GoPro cameras to Jong Bonaire to provide students the opportunity to learn ocean and underwater photography with one of Bonaire’s most prominent and well-respected photographers, Kenny Ranking.
Through our collaboration with Jong Bonaire, Kenny provided weekly mentorship and training as teens discovered how to plan, film, and edit short nature-themed videos. Student work was showcased in a local public exhibition.
